Visit the The NNMEC Miniature Railway
at the Holt 1940s Weekend
The North Norfolk Model Engineering Club (NNMEC) miniature railway will be open for public train rides and more during the Holt 1940s Weekend.
Visit the railway, located close to the Holt station site, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September for train rides and stalls selling handmade crafts and homemade cakes.
About the NNMEC
The NNMEC is a local interest group whose members make and engineer models - including miniature steam locos, static engines, traction engines, boats, clocks and other things mechanical.
The group's volunteers run a five-inch gauge rail track located on the Holt Station site, which is open for public running on certain days between Easter and October.
The NNMEC holds monthly meetings on the first Friday of each month at High Kelling Village Hall at 7.30pm, where a variety of guest speakers attend and demonstrations of work are held.
